Innovation and Quality

Research and development in our own testing lab
A comprehensive water testing area and an air testing area with high pressure spherical accumulator allow us to carry out most of the tests on our fittings under extreme conditions ourselves

Innovative and practice-oriented solutions
We specialise in developing and manufacturing individual solutions required by the market right up to the production stage. We have developed, e.g. an innovative valve generation for use in extreme temperatures between -270° C and +400° C, special valves for air separation and valves for the liquefaction of natural gas (LNG).

Use of high quality raw materials
We randomly check all parts for correct manufacture during the incoming goods check to ensure that every batch meets the specifications. Pressure-bearing parts are checked for strength and tightness before assembly.

Production with state-of-the-art machines
Qualified specialist personnel produce our goods using state-of-the-art CNC machines, degrease them with systems designed in-house and create the appropriate markings with laser-controlled engraving machines.

Certified quality management
Our quality management system was introduced in 1991 and is certified by the TÜV to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
It supports our classic quality principle: quality control from design through delivery to the customer.

Foundry master Theodor Rose set up the valve factory Th. Rose KG in Altona. He started production of valves for ship construction and building technology

Grounding of the company Hero Armaturenwerk G.m.b.H in Bad Oldesloe, main production range was various types of industrial valves

Move from Hamburg to Bad Oldesloe

Construction of the new production facilities in Bad Oldesloe covering 3500 square meters. Continuing more than 130 years of tradition, quality valves are still manufactured here
