Personal data

In certain cases we may, however, require your name, address and other details in order to supply the desired goods or perform the desired services.
This shall apply in particular for sending information materials or for responding to individual queries. We shall make suitable reference in cases where personal data needs to be disclosed. Furthermore, we shall only store and process data that you have voluntarily or automatically disclosed.

Processing of your IP address by the web server

Services on the Internet can only be used from a technical perspective if your IP address is disclosed. This is processed by the web servers delivering the websites in question. Your IP address is stored together with other, non-identifiable information in technical protocol files, known as log files. We shall only use these files in order to be able to analyse the reason and impact in situations where a fault arises. The log files are deleted on a weekly basis. Non-identifiable information includes i.a. the following:

  • the names and size (Bytes) of the web pages you have visited
  • the name of the browser you are using
  • the name and version of your operating system
  • the device type of your computer (or mobile telephone or tablet)
  • date and time of access
  • any search engines used via which you have reached our website
  • the names and size (Bytes) of any downloaded files
  • user agent (Browser)

Apart from this processing by the web server, we shall only use or store your IP address in anonymous form (for more information on this see Google Analytics section).

Intended purpose of personal data

We shall use your personal data to respond to queries, process your orders, deliver goods to you or grant you access to specific information or offers.

Specific use

We shall only collect, process and use your personal data disclosed online for the purposes as notified to you. Your personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties without your prior consent as required.
The collection of personal data and the transmission of such data to state institutions and authorities that are entitled to receive such information shall only be carried out within the scope of the relevant laws and/or if we are obliged to collect and transmit such data due to a judicial ruling. Our employees and the service providers commissioned by us are obligated by us to ensure confidentiality by us and must comply with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).


When you visit our website, information may be stored on your computer in the form of a cookie. Cookies are small text files sent from a web server to your browser and stored on your computer’s hard drive. No personal data regarding the user is stored, only an extra pseudonym that has been generated for you. This information is used, for example, to automatically recognise you upon your next visit to our website and facilitate navigation for you.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc. ("Google"), for analysing the site visits. Google Analytics use cookies for this purpose (for more information see the “Cookies” section below). The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA where it is stored. Your IP address shall be anonymised prior to storage. This anonymisation is carried out by Google in a Member State of the European Union or a Signatory State to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. Google Analytics has been extended on our website to include the code “anonymizeIp”.
When data is processed in accordance with § 11 of the Federal Data Protection Act, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports on website activity and provide other services related to website and Internet use for us. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies through the corresponding setting in your browser. However, we wish to point out that in this particular case that you cannot, where applicable, use all of the website’s functions in full. You can also prevent the release of data generated by the cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available here from Google.

Children and young persons under 18

Persons under the age of 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not request personal data from children and young persons, nor do we collect such data and disclose it to third parties.

Transmission of personal data abroad

With the exception of the aforementioned transmission to CloudFlare and Google as part of using Google Analytics, we do not transfer any personal data abroad. All of the servers that we operate and use are located in Europe.

We reserve the right to amend the security and data privacy measures in place at any time, particularly if this becomes necessary due to technical developments. We shall also make suitable changes to this information regarding data privacy in such cases too. Please ensure therefore that you observe the most recent version of this Privacy Policy.

Right of information and right of objection, queries, suggestions and complaints

You can request details regarding your personal information that we have stored at any time. Furthermore, you may also revoke your consent for us to collect and store your personal data in future, and may do so at any time.
